Thank You Note
First of all, I want to start this post by thanking everybody for all the amazing things we’ve managed to accomplish together in 2020 and say that none of this wouldn’t have been possible without the love & support of our wonderful supreme communities.
We’ve managed to achieve quite a few things last year in spite of the worldwide COVID-19 outbreak. Perhaps the most important one was the switch from single class purchases to the current supreme membership model where users could get access to every course in the portfolio without having to purchase each individually.
We’ve launched 6 new classes from September 1st until the end of the year, 4 Dota 2 and of course 2 FIFA 21 courses. With each launch, we’ve managed to surpass every expectation and the feedback on everything has been really amazing. Thank you!
For the better half of last year, we tried to include multiple formats of content on our platform and do everything we can to help our members improve even further and so we created things such as daily videos, profile analysis & gameplay reviews.
Taking a look at most of the numbers and user data we’ve acquired over the last few months it quickly became obvious to us that the biggest attraction of our service was the masterclasses with the pros.
Therefore we’ve decided to stop doing daily videos, game reviews & dotabuff analyses.
It pains us to say it because we understand that there were quite a handful of people who enjoyed and learned from this content, however as our number of active members was going up, the amount of people watching daily content & submitting game replays was getting smaller and smaller.
In the future, we will be bringing these features back as paid extras that people will be able to purchase for an additional cost, and that way we can guarantee members will have a 100% of having their games looked at by a coach.
As sad it is to say goodbye to a lot of our previous features, a change such as this one also comes with many positives. This will allow us to spend more time & more resources (both human & financial resources) to create better & improved masterclasses.
We will devote more time, money & people to create even better masterclasses with pro players. We will also focus a large part of our time to bring more pro live-sessions with even bigger profiles and improve on the current format.
We want to create a more exclusive community where we bring pros closer to YOU and give you a better chance to learn directly from them and get to know them a little better as well. What makes gaming great is that we are all the same. The last thing we want to happen is to help widen the gap between the amateur and professional scene.
This doesn’t mean all of our videos will be removed from the platform. On the contrary, we will be keeping almost all of them and some of the earlier ones will be remade. The philosophy moving into 2021 is one of quality over quantity. Creating new videos every day has its advantages but one of the biggest setbacks is obviously the lack of quality that comes with it.
By mid-2021 we want to have a complete library with all of the game mechanics and create a dynamic platform where users can input their favorite heroes, positions & ranks. From there you will be redirected directly to content relevant to you so you know exactly what to focus on. Additionally, we’ll also be implementing 1 on 1 coaching as a purchasable service so you can book a session and talk directly with a top tier coach.
