Top 3 Best Skill Move Combinations In FIFA 21 Right Now
The FIFA 21 META has changed dramatically since the game was released back in October 2020.
A lot of the skill moves that were once OP have now been nerfed, such as the bridge dribble, the Verjgang stepovers, ball juggling, the rainbow flick, and the shot cancel to name a few.
On that note, here’s a look at three of the best skill move combos in FIFA 21 right now;
Ball Roll/Scoop Turn
Despite being extremely easy to execute, the ball roll is one of the most overpowered skill moves in FIFA 21.
It grants you the ability to seamlessly change directions across any area of the pitch without having to take extra touches on the ball – allowing you to evade players and create space for a crucial shot or a key pass.
The ball roll skill move, on its own, is very OP, but when executed in quick succession with the scoop turn, it becomes even more powerful, so much so that your opponent likely won’t be able to defend against it.
The scoop turn is a skill move that allows you to drag the ball across a 180-degree angle to create space.
It’s different from the ball roll, but it is also similar to the ball roll, in the sense that it allows you to seamlessly change directions.
The ball roll and scoop turn combo is pretty easy to perform – all you do is perform a ball roll (by moving the right analog stick horizontally) and then quickly perform a scoop turn (by performing a fake shot and flicking the left analog stick across a 180-degree angle relative to the direction of your player.)
Fake Shot Stop/Ball Hop
The fake shot stop/ball hop combo is one of the least talked about combos in FIFA 21 right now.
Barely anybody is using it, and that’s because the vast majority of FIFA players are yet to discover it.
But despite it being relatively unknown, the fake shot stop/ball hop combo is pretty OP.
The fake shot stop is one of the most useful moves in FIFA 21. It allows you to quickly bring your movements to a halt. This might not sound particularly useful, but it grants you the ability to “confuse” your opponents and bait them into making a tackle.
After baiting your opponents with the fake shot stop, you can quickly burst past them with the ball hop which is a skill move that allows you to jump-forward with the ball stuck in-between your feet.
You can perform the fake shot stop by pressing the shoot button and then pressing the pass button to immediately cancel out the shot. You can perform the ball hop in quick succession by pressing L1/LB and R3.
The Rabona Fake/Elastico Combo
Unlike the skill combinations we talked about earlier, the rabona fake and the elastico are both five-star skill moves – meaning, you can only perform them with players who possess a five-star skill rating.
The rabona fake/elastico is a combo that was originally popularized by the #1 FIFA player in the world Donnovan “Tekkz” Hunt.
The rabona fake works a bit like the fake shot stop. It allows you to bring your movements to a sudden halt, which tricks your opponent into committing to a tackle and grants you the time and space to change directions.
Usually, when you perform the rabona fake, you’ll need to take a few extra touches to move the ball around your opponent – but by executing an elastico right after the rabona fake, you’ll be able to dribble past your opponent and find space to either continue your run, shoot the ball or make a pass.
The rabona fake can be performed by pressing L2/LT and the fake shot button while in motion while the elastico can be performed by moving your right analog stick from right to left in a 180-degree angle relative to the direction of your player.
