TOTS predictions Ligue 1

On Friday this week, we will get the fourth main league TOTS squad being Ligue 1. We have looked at 11 players we believe deserve a spot on the team. Let’s get into it!

Goalkeeper

Lafont (92)
Starting off our Ligue 1 TOTS prediction we have Lafont. Not the most impressive season overall for Nantes, however, this guy has been absolutely amazing. With 3 IF cards this year, along with 8 clean sheets, and tons of amazing saves, he is our pick for the goalkeeper in Ligue 1 TOTS. 

Defenders

Nuno Mendes (94)
For the LB position, we have chosen Nuno Mendes. The youngster has been killing it this season and has been performing great in the Paris Saint Germain defense. With a pace like a few other LBs and an impressive technique, we believe he will make it into the team. Could be a very nice card for us to use as well.

Marquinhos (96)
For our second defender, we have picked Marquinhos. For yet another year, this guy has been one of the best, if not the best CB in Ligue 1. An absolute wall for the attackers to get by, and a key part of Paris Saint Germain’s success in the league this season. With 5 goals and tons of clearances, this guy is a lock-in TOTS.  Potentially one of the highest-rated cards on the team as well.

Caleta-Car (92)
What a season by Marseille. They ended second in the league and with a performance of that kind, we had to include one of their players. Caleta-Car has been absolutely amazing in the defense and has helped with a lot of clean sheets. Not the highest-rated card, but definitely a deserved spot if he does get it.

Hamari Traore (92)
Another fast fullback in the prediction. This guy has been an extremely important player for Rennes this season, both offensively and defensively. With a total of 3 goals scored, 10 assists, and 67 clearances he is our pick for the RB position. Another lower-rated card compared to other TOTS cards but could be a great one for sure. 

Midfielders

Fofana (94)
Moving onto the midfielders, we have an absolute rock being Fofana. A big part of the impressive season Lens has had and a world-class midfielder. With 2 informs, 1 player of the month title, 8 goals, and 1 assist, he should definitely feature in Ligue 1 TOTS. Could be an absolutely crazy card, let’s hope he gets it.

Tchouameni (93)
What a season this guy has had for Monaco. A well-known name in FIFA with 4 IFs and some quite nice cards actually. Other than that he has scored 3 goals, assisted 2, and has a passing accuracy of nothing less than 87%. Another midfielder we certainly should see in Ligue 1 TOTS on Friday.

Attackers

Mbappe (98)
Moving onto the attackers, and some absolutely insane ones of the kind. Probably the TOTS team with the best attackers out of all leagues. Starting off we have the golden boy Kylian Mbappe. One of the fastest players in the world, an absolutely insane technique, and is a very important player for Paris Saint Germain. With 28 goals and 17 assists, there is no doubt that he will be on the team.

Messi (97)
For the second attacker, we have the goat, Lionel Messi. Even though you could discuss if his performance is TOTS worthy, we believe EA will put him on the team to sell a lot of packs. However, there is no denying the fact that this guy continues to be world-class and plays like no one else. With a total of 6 goals and 14 assists, we believe he will get a spot.

Ben Yedder (95)
The third attacker and the second Monaco player in our prediction. Ben Yedder continues to be the star on this Monaco team with some amazing performances, and tons of goals. With 3 IF’s and 1 Ligue 1 POTM title, along with 25 goals and 3 assists, he is our third pick for the attackers in the team.

Neymar (96)
Last, but definitely not least we have the Brazilian king, Neymar Jr. With a technique like few others, and a crazy amount of passion, he should definitely get into the team as well. A total of 13 goals and 6 assists for him this season. Another player we almost certainly will see on Friday to complete the Paris Saint Germain attack. What a team we could see, let’s hope for some great cards!
