The importance of Stacking Camps in Dota 2

Advantages of Camp Stacking

There are numerous advantages of stacking the neutral camps in a Dota 2 match. The following are some of them.

Carry gets quick farm

There is a time in the match of Dota 2, where the Carry finishes the laning phase and moves to the jungle to farm. As the Carry does not involve in most of the early team fights, his basic goal is to farm better and win the game later. After winning or losing the lane, the Carry of the game always goes into the jungle to farm the neutral creeps. If the Support player in the match has done stacking in the jungle, the carry will definitely get more gold. Getting more gold will eventually lead to faster items. As your carry gets his items faster than the enemies, your chances of winning the game increase automatically.

Similarly, if a Support player has not stacked the jungle, the Carry will then have to farm on a regular pace and will get his items on regular time. Therefore, stacking camps for the Carry player is very important as this could eventually lead you to win the match.

The team gets more Experience

As you stack the camps in the jungle, your Carry will get more farm. Having more farms will eventually lead to higher experience. As your team leads the net worth chart, your experience also leads. This means that your hero level will always be higher than the enemy team. Having a hero level advantage will definitely provide you a window of controlling more sides of the map. Your hero will be more powerful than the enemy’s heroes.

Eventually, in the longer run, your team fight will be stronger and you may lead your team towards victory. These are the small details in the game that could lead you towards victory very easily. Therefore, stacking camps in a Dota 2 match is very important as your whole team gets more experience because of you.

You Receive the Gold too

In the recent patches of Dota 2, Valve decided to make the game better for a Support player. For this, the organization made a new rule in the game. If a player stacks the camps in the jungle and any of his allies clears it, the player will receive a 35% gold bounty of it. This means that if you stack any camp in your match, it will advantage your Carry and you as well. As a matter of fact, stacking camps will prove beneficial for the whole team.

As you stack camps during your match, you will receive some amount of gold bounty as your teammate clears it. This will give you an upper hand on the enemy’s Support player. You will get more gold and get your Support items quickly. Therefore, stacking camps for a Support player is an easy way to get more gold in the game and get your items quickly.

Better Player

For sure stacking camps during a match will make you a better Dota 2 player. As camp stacking is done at a specific time of each minute in the game, you will keep a note of the time every moment. Keeping an eye on the time will also provide you an opportunity to roam around the map and help other lanes when necessary. Similarly, you will eventually also learn how to stack multiple camps at the same time. This will give you the extra advantage of using time as money. One way or another, making camp stacking your habit as a Support player will always make you a better player. You will always have the tap of things going around during the game.

Better Community

As you make camp stacking your habit while you are playing as a Support in the match, your team will definitely commend you at the end. Regardless of the result of the match, your Carry will always commend you and think good about you. As little as it seems, this can actually help improve the community of the game. You and your team will actually coordinate better if you do a good gesture in the game. Therefore, camp stacking is important for a Support player to perform better and play better in a Dota 2 match.

Camp Stacking in Dota 2 is one of the biggest aspects of the game and can be proved as a game-changer. Most of the time when your Carry faces trouble during the laning phase and decides to move to the jungle to farm, your camp stacking can help him in coping up the item timings. If your enemy gives you a hard time in the lane, it is obvious that he/she will have a better farm after the laning phase. Losing a single lane in a Dota 2 match can be very costly to the rest of the players. If your carry moves to the jungle and eats your stacks, he can match the item timings with the enemies very easily. Similarly, camp stacking provides you an upper hand with the gold lead and experience lead. As you lead in the gold, your team gets the items quicker than the enemies. Undeniably, camp stacking is a very important aspect of the game and can prove very beneficial in each match.
