Iceiceice Updates

Mircea Announcements, Dota 2

A few months ago we announced a new Dota 2 Course with the amazing veteran offlaner Daryl “Iceiceice” Koh.

Everything was going great. We had several sessions with Iceiceice to structure the course and create a very clear outline of what it is going to look like. We were almost ready to go into production. It was set on the 23rd of March, the next day after the LA major.

And then it happened. Nobody expected it. It took us all by surprise and we had to conform and adapt. COVID-19 pandemic started to break out. LA major was canceled and with this, so were our production plans with Daryl.

We were hoping all of it would blow away by now but it’s already May and the course should’ve been in your hands already.

Unfortunately, we don’t know when exactly the production can take place now. While the situation at our office seems to be clearing up in the upcoming weeks or month, other locations and countries are not as fortunate as us and travel restrictions are still in place for unknown amounts of time.

This means there are still some factors that are not within our control and it is hard for us to come up with a new release date. We hope that by the end of this summer we should have both Daryl “Iceiceice” Koh and Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen released but of course, we cannot guarantee it.

Thank you for your patience & understanding. We’re sorry it has to be like this. We will keep you updated as soon as we know more.
