A good or lousy matchup will determine how easy the game will be. In this episode, sOAZ goes in-depth on how to approach the picking phase and what to be on the look-out when selecting a champion. Having to blind pick is not ideal as you will always want to try to pick a good matchup, however, this isn’t always possible. In these situations, strong laners aim for champs that don’t have too many terrible matchups such as Aatrox and Renekton. sOAZ likes to start every game by quickly analyzing the situation. Doing so includes looking at runes and summoner spells, but also paying attention to the enemy jungle pathing. Based on the matchup and this information, you can decide if you want to go for an early cheese or fast push.
