Lesson description

In this episode, Cr1t- breaks down the concept of downtime and goes in-depth about the concept of farming and how you want to farm as position 4. Downtime is any moment where your team is not ready to play actively. Cr1t- describes it as the period where either you or your team want to farm out with timing in mind. Ideally, you want to have as little downtime as possible because being active all around the map is a more efficient way of farming. When farming as position 4, you want to do it as little as possible and always have a purpose in mind. For example, if you play Earthshaker, it might be crucial for you to farm your blink dagger asap because it brings the most value to your team and will allow you to empower others to farm. Lastly, when you are farming as a support, you want to do it as fast as possible. Use your spells and items to clear out waves quickly and avoid showing yourself in lanes for long periods. Quickly pushing waves will force the enemy to rotate to one side of the map. Going into the dark will create additional pressure.
